Public Transportation, Oh Boy

Man oh man, don't I like public transportation. Today, I walked all the way from Wilson Ave. to East New York. That means that I literally walked through Bushwick into East New York. Oh yea and I had on Timberland boots. It took me about an hour to get home and I didn't feel any pain. That is until I got home and felt my bed. Then I realized that my thighs and my right hamstring were hurting. But hey, now I know what I'm capable of.

Science Project Complete

My science project is officially finished. It took me three days to complete the research report and place all the needed requirements on my science poster board. Thanks to Movie Snow, I was able to fully complete my science project, not under duress or pressure. But I have one more day to complete my project in a comfortable manner. If I had to finish my science project this morning I would've been going to school late. It took me about a half-hour to put everything I needed on my poster board. I'm suppose to present my project on March 5th, or maybe the 6th.

Movie Snow Saves Children Across the Tri-State

NO SCHOOL TODAY!!! Everybody in New York City and probably the Tri-state area are out of school today. The snow is crazy. Believe or not its so bad in Long Island and New Jersey kids knew they weren't going to school last night. However, Joel Klien, chancellor of New York City department of education, didn't announce no school until this morning. Tell me why they were stalling, just cancel school because the snow is too high and its still snowing like a storm.

The snow outside looks like Movie Snow because I've never seen snow like this, only in movies. It gives me the feeling of Charlie Brown or Polar Express, the snow looks so unreal. So I decided to call the snow outside, Movie Snow.

Today Was Different

Today was a good day at school, but I have to admit, it was different. Yesterday, I saw my report card. My father nor I was happy with my report card. No specifics are needed but I didn't do me. In Math and English I was strong as usual, but I dropped from a 90 to a 75 in Social Studies. Me, a 75 in social studies. This drop doesn't have anything to do with my understanding of History or politics, because believe me, I do understand History and politics. I can write about History and politics. This blog is a testament to my understanding and my abilities. The thing that did me in with Social Studies class was my conduct. I was socializing too much in class and I was being disruptive.

Today I was thinking about a lot in school. I was specifically thinking about the things that Pop told me and it gave me a better understanding. Pop told me that, "social studies is the study of society". And for me to drop 15 points, instead of going up 15 points in social studies is really bad.

The School Yard Is Finally Done

The school yard has finally been finished. Well its been finished for about two months now but nobody could ever go in. But now its finish. Its about time, actually it isn't but I'm glad they did it sooner than later. I wonder why the yard wasn't made available to us? Its been done for about two months, so kids may have actually been able to go to the yard.

24-20, What A Close Game

Yesterday my team and I beat the Miami Heat. We won 24-20. In fact we almost lost. During the first half of the game I played good but I missed most of my shots and only had two points. However in the second half I dominated. At one point I scored six points straight. I had a total of 12 points in the second half, leading my team to a 2-0 record. Kevin had the second most points with 8. It was a great game and the other team was real mad when they lost. They had tied the game up at 18 with a 1:25 left to go. Then I stole the ball, took it back drove down the hole and made it. Then we gave them the ball, they missed Kevin got the rebound, then he passed it to me, wide open behind the three-point line and I made it. Had their been a three pointer the game would've been 23-18. Next time they got the ball their point guard wasted about 12 seconds of clock because he didn't remember if he passed the ball, so if he shot the ball it would be self. At this point there was about 24 seconds left. The point guard realized he did drove and Kevin blocked it. Then he passed to me I dribbled out, passed it to Kevin, and Kevin passed it to Giovanni to make the last shot of the game. I can't wait till next week or whenever we play next.

So Many Water Fountains to Drink From

Well actually we have a lot of water fountains at school, but we don't use all of them. At school we only use all the first floor water fountains (3 fountains) and two water fountains on the fourth floor. Now keep in mind there is about 2-3 water fountains on each floor, maybe even more. And we only get to use 5. Right that makes a whole lot of sense. My school is just messing with the students. I've seen many kids go up to a water fountain at school that's not on or working. Even last year I got fooled by all the water fountains. So either take the water fountains out or make em' work so everybody can drink from all the water fountains

Do the Damn Construction After School!

Can anyone explain why construction inside my school is going on, during class? I mean for real. You have to hear the fire alarm bell every period, oh my gosh. That's so annoying! Every period today the school heard the fire alarm go off. It causes confusion, distraction and disruption. And at least 3 times I saw classes almost leave the building. "Please disregard the bell", after four-rive rings, nobody wants to stay and see if there's a fire or fire drill. Classes just go, so construction during school should be a no, no. But hey don't tell my school that.

Science Project Begins

Well today or tomorrow I'm going to start my science project. I plan on finishing it by the end of the break. Hopefully, I will find all the information I need for my project and I'll be able to finish it. Well back to Madden with Pop.

Going Down The Rankings

Uh-Oh, I'm starting to slip down the rankings in the Stock Market Game. Now I'm in 23rd place. I was settled in the Top 5 for at least two weeks and now, 23rd place. This can not be good. Some of my stocks need to be sold, I need more money and I need Citigroup to reach $5 so that I can buy a couple hundred shares of the company. I don't plan on dropping anymore than 23rd place, and I want to get back into the Top 5.
